Upload your first clip

- 1Open the media bin in the left panel
- 2Click the source video upload area and select your clip
- 3Add optional b-roll clips and SFX from the same panel
- 4Media is normalized automatically — any format works
Generate an AI timeline
Core feature3 minType a brief creative direction and let Auraframe build a complete editable timeline.
- 1Switch to the "AI Generate" tab in the left panel
- 2Type your editing direction — describe pace, style, and content
- 3Choose a style pack: viral, cinematic, clean, energetic, or minimal
- 4Click Generate — the timeline populates with clips, captions, effects, and audio
Edit captions and hooks
4 minFine-tune AI-generated captions, adjust timing, and customise style per clip.
- 1Click any caption in the timeline to select it
- 2Edit text directly in the InspectorPanel on the right
- 3Choose from outline, box, or impact caption styles
- 4Drag the clip edges to adjust timing — snap-to-grid keeps it precise
Use editor tools
5 minMaster the Select, Compact, and Razor tools for precise timeline editing.
- 1Select tool (V) — drag clips, trim handles, move items across tracks
- 2Compact tool (S) — trim a clip and auto-adjust playback rate to fill the gap
- 3Razor tool (C) — click anywhere on a clip to cut it into two independent items
- 4Keyboard shortcuts V / S / C to switch tools quickly
Render and export
2 minSubmit your timeline for rendering and download the finished short-form video.
- 1Click Preview (720p) to get a fast lower-quality render for review
- 2Use Export Full for the final 1080p render
- 3Monitor render progress in the top toolbar
- 4Click Download when the render completes to save your video
